Work Experience

Information Architect -- SpireMedia - Oct 2004 to Present

> Lead the information architecture design of Web sites and software applications. I am also in charge of    usability testing done in the SpireLab. I also assist in the development of interface designs and low-fidelity    functional wireframe prototypes.

> Clients include; Qwest (incredibleinternet.com), Western Union, Cadpo (cadpo.com), Adelphia, and Echostar    (the Dish Network, conducted usability testing).

Instructor of Web Animation -- Art Institute of Colorado (AIC) - Oct 2004 to Present

> Currently working as a part-time faculty member in the Interactive Media Design department . I am teaching    a class on Web Animation using Flash MX Professional 2004.

Web Designer/Project Lead (contract) -- Intrawest Lodging Division -- Feb. 2004 to Apr. 2004

> Currently finishing the development of an internal web site residing on Intrawest’s local intranet - I have    been responsible for the planning of the project as well as the design and production of the site (a comp of    the site can be viewed here: http://www.sjue.net/iw/ - it is an internal web site that cannot be viewed in    its entirety)

> The site will act as a virtual home for all of the Lodging division’s internal operating procedures and policies    and it will also provide ways for employees to connect to each other

> The site is also designed to reinforce the brand and company culture; describe the company’s mission and    values; outline the company’s history; and reflect a positive image of the Intrawest Lodging group to    potential outside investors seeking a company to manage their lodging properties

> The site will be accessed by Housekeepers to Corporate Executives from Whistler British Columbia to lodging    properties in Florida as well as numerous other locations across the U.S. and Canada on Intrawest’s Virtual    Private Network

Web Developer -- Paxchristiusa.org -- Sept 2002 to Present

>  Redesigned existing site using ASP, Fireworks and Dreamweaver MX- currently editing content updates,     completing design changes and conducting routine maintenance of the site

>  Worked closely with the organization to determine information architecture, content, and how the site     could provide resources to facilitate grassroots community organizing and entice users to revisit the site         for the latest news and resources

>  Design and edit an online version of their bimonthly publication, the Catholic Peace Voice -                 (http://www.paxchristiusa.org/news_thecatholic_pv.asp)

>  The newly redesigned site launched Oct. 1st with further site enhancements and reengineering to follow

Web Graphic Designer -- Eddie Bauer E-Commerce Division -- Jan 2000 / June 2002 - Seattle, WA

>  Worked closely with the Web marketing team to create animated .gif and Flash advertising Banners,     homepage and line page billboards and marketing emails that effectively communicated the brand’s     prestige and drove significant amounts of business to the web site

>  Was responsible for the optimization and management of product images appearing on eddiebauer.com

>  Was a key player in a corporate wide file naming convention initiative that would allow different    departments to share and track files seamlessly

Multimedia Designer –- Syrtis (instructional design) - Sept 2002 / June 2003 -- Syracuse, NY

>  Designed supplemental multimedia material for instructional design projects
>  Worked with clients that included Niagara Mohawk and the Poison Control Center of Central New York to     establish content and design specifications

Web Developer -- clickondemocracy.com -- Sept 2002 / Sept 2003 -- Syracuse, NY

>  Designed and engineered the entire site using Cold Fusion, Fireworks and Dreamweaver MX.

>  Collaborated with the authors of Click On Democracy to establish a site that would relay information about     the book but also provide resources for establishing virtual communities and provide a forum for     connecting with others directly through the site

Production Assistant/Videographer

Aug 1997 / July 1999 -- Michigan Government Television

>  Wrote and taped voice over spots. Video taped press conferences and seminars.
    Created graphics and operated remote controlled cameras during live tapings of committee hearings and     conferences.
